The PCF Advisory Committee is established to address issues of interest or concern on a District-wide basis, and make recommendations to the Fire Chief.

The Committee reviews existing and proposed practices, policies, procedures and handbooks, to ensure they meet the needs of the department and conforms to laws, regulations and standards.

Any Fresno County Fire Protection District PCF may request an agenda item to be placed on the Agenda through their respective Battalion representative. All Agenda Items must be forwarded to the Committee Chairperson from the Battalion representative no later than 72 hours before each meeting.

Operational issues or deficiencies that are limited to the local area or PCF Company will be first addressed through the proper chain of command and placed on the PCF Committee agenda is appropriate.

Regular quarterly meetings will be held on the second Monday in January, April, July and October.
