Abundant Grass Could Pose Great Fire Danger

Abundant grass is nice to see now but could pose great fire danger

The rapid growth of vegetation around the Central Valley due to wet season is beautiful to look at now but may pose a big risk in the future when it comes to fire danger. The rain has done wonders for our drought conditions but also sprouted a lot of grass and fostered the growth of brush. Having a wet winter, all that does is make more grass, said Fire Captain Seth Brown from Cal Fire Fresno.
