STRIKE TEAM LEADER (S-330)

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

This course contains the NEW curriculum regarding tactics and strategy in the Wildland Urban Interface (WUI) as it relates to the management of a strike team or task force and meets the S-330 training requirements of the California Incident Command Certification System (CICCS) for the position of Strike Team/Task Force Leader – All Risk!!

COURSE DETAILS:
This is a 3.5 day class (28 hours). There will a practical exercise on the last day where students will be ST/TF leaders evaluating, determining, and assigning their strike team resources in the Wildland Urban Interface for structure defense. This is an excellent opportunity to put your newly learned skill sets to work.

PREREQUISITES: I-300 & S-290

CERTIFICATES ISSUED UPON SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION:

CA State Fire Training Certificate (CICCS approved)
